Why I do dis?
(Incomplete, but getting there.)
Yuzu
"Please have a seat. Is there anything I can get you? Oh...I did it again."
The prince of Amarant, in the Country of Sorcery. His kingdom has been subjugated for a long time, so he was sent away for safety and raised as a servant in the castle of neighboring Sorciana. However, upon his family's recent return to power, he was brought back home and learned he's actually a prince. He was constantly ill for many years, so he's extremely fragile physically, but his willpower and spirit are strong.

"If I give you one of my scales, will you leave me alone?"
The younger prince of Aquaria, in the Seabed Country. Reticent and naturally distrusting, he can't show his emotions well, and hence tries to keep his distance from others. When he gets frustrated with something, he'll often go off for a long swim on his own so he can calm down.

Ever since finding an ancient shipwreck when he was a child, Saiph has held a deep interest in scouring old wrecks for treasure. He rarely finds anything of value, but he enjoys the thrill of the hunt.

The prince of Cherisse, in the Country of Cherry Blossoms. Quiet and shy to those he doesn't know, he tends to mostly avoid people except for his servants, so not many outside of the castle have ever seen him. Even so, as the newest reincarnation of the spirit of Cherisse's sacred cherry tree, he's a symbol of hope for all the kingdom's inhabitants.

A large tree that exists in the castle gardens. It's said to have sprouted from the site where the very first prince of Cherisse perished during a war, and his spirit resides inside the tree. Every few generations, a prince will be born who is the reincarnation of that first prince.

A song meant to ensure longevity and prosperity for the kingdom. Every year when the cherry blossoms first bloom, the current prince will sing this song. If the wind blows gently while he's singing, it's a sign that an excellent year will follow.
